Sometimes life’s challenges can pull a community together. This past Saturday, parents, students, and faculty members came together at Nashawtuc Country Club for an evening hosted by the school’s MLK L-S Student Haitian Relief Effort. Through this evening fundraising auction, the students raised over $10,000 to support the reconstruction and humanitarian efforts in Haiti.
The Loring School Chess club is looking for chess enthusiasts to help coach our chess club students. The club meets each Wednesday from 12:05 - 1pm on early release days and from 2:45 - 3:45 on regular days. Weekly committment is not required. Contact Carolyn Libby at mark_carolyn.libby@verizon.net.
